Mrs. Tanya Marie Cox, age 49, of Sevierville, TN passed away on January 6, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL after a brief illness.
Mrs. Cox was a native of Flomaton, AL and had been a resident of Sevierville, for several months coming from Rock Falls, IL. She was self-employed as a pilot car escort for heavy equipment, a graduate of Century High School, and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Jan Edward Cox of Sevierville, TN; father, James (Joyce) Peacock of Brewton, AL; mother, Linda Peacock of Grand Bay, AL; son, Joey (Valerie) Carnley of Brewton, AL; step-son, Jason (Jan) Cox of Rock Falls, IL; step daughter, Janaey Cox of Milton, WI; brother, Greg Peacock of Spanish Fort, AL; sister, Renea Peacock of Grand Bay, AL; grandchildren, Tennisson and Amberlyn Carnley of Brewton, AL and Haliegh and Brody Cox of Rock Falls, IL.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Richburg officiating. Visitaion will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue until service time. Interment will be in Traveler's Rest Cemetery, Flomaton, AL.
Pallbearers will be Chris Slater, Bruce Harmon, Eloy Martines, Jerry Carnley. Carl Lambeth, John Buesing.
